The purpose of this study is to update Chester Township's vegetative and wildlife resources inventory including critical wildlife habitats, to provide recommendations for municipal regulatory control (if warranted), and then to prepare a strategy for future public awareness programs regarding the Township's natural environmental heritage. Included maps are of existing vegetation and priority ecosystems and of a natural heritage index.Prepared with a grant from the Department of Environmental Protection, Office of Environmental Services.
