Flood Hazard Analyses Middle Section, Assunpink Creek Watershed, Mercer and Monmouth Counties, New Jersey

This report identifies and delineated flood hazard areas within the Middle Section of the Assunpink Creek Watershed. The purpose of this report is to help implement the New Jersey Flood Plains Act of 1972 and to assist decision makers, officials of communities and individuals in achieving proper and wise utilization of the State's flood plains. The report is based on historical storm and flood information, stream flow records and other technical data defining the size and occurrence of potential floods in the study area.
