The goal of this report was to investigate the feasibility of reclaiming a linear strip of land along the banks of the Hackensack River and converting it into a publicly accessible and useable Greenway and more specifically Bikeway. The study area includes the waterfront from the Riverside Square Shopping Mall to Court and Anderson Streets with detailed blueprint maps included.Prepared for The City of Hackensack Environmental Commission with a grant from the New Jersey Department of Environment and Energy, Office of Environmental Services.Purpose: To present the findings for a proposed Greenway/Bikeway along the waterfront within the City of Hackensack, Bergen County, New Jersey
