Open Space and Recreation Plan for Township of East Hanover: Gateway to Morris County

This plan offers a system of greenways surrounding the major rivers of East Hanover, protecting the riparian corridors and preserving a greenbelt around these sensitive ecosystems. The purpose of this plan is to connect these protected corridors with the Troy Meadows Natural Area, Passaic Meadows, and Black Meadows Preserve to create a continuous area of preserved land in the Central Passaic River basin.Prepared for the Township of East Hanover with the aid of a grant from the Office of Environmental Services, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.Purpose: The purpose of this plan is to protect the Township of East Hanover from over-development
