Water Resource Identification Study: White Township, Warren County, New Jersey

This study identifies the water resources in White Township so that the information can be used to update the 1982 Master Plan. A Current Planning Capacity Model was used to estimate the groundwater supply available for human consumption. The Nitrate Dilution Model was used to derive the potential nitrate enrichment of the groundwater supplies contained within the various geologic formations within the municipal boundaries of White Township. The results of these two tests are reported, and potentially contaminated sites are listed in the study.Prepared for the Township of White Environmental Commission with a grant from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Office of Environmental Services.Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide information to the Township of White which can be used as a basis for updating the 1982 Master Plan and also to provide a database from which the Township can build upon each year to assess land/water use change within the Township and its vicinity
