Coastal Zone Management and Atlantic County

This report is an analysis of New Jersey's Coastal Management Program - Bay and Ocean Shore Segment from the perspective of the local government. The current and projected character of Atlantic County is discussed in this report. There is also a chapter on the state's Coastal Management Program and how this program is expected to affect Atlantic County, New Jersey.This report was prepared under contract with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Marine Services, Office of Coastal Zone Management with financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Admisitration, Office of Coastal Zone Management.Purpose: To analyze New Jersey's Coastal Management Program and the potential effects upon Atlantic County
