This newsletter is intended to inform interested individuals and organizations about the activities and events of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Division of Fish and Wildlife's Endangered and Nongame Species Program, as well as provide general information about New Jersey wildlife. This issue contains articles about bald eagle recovery efforts, the decline of the red knot shorebird, and the need for volunteers to help monitor species
