Spring Newsletter of the NJDEP's Historic Preservation Office. The Department of Environmental Protection, Historic Preservation Office is committed to enhancing the quality of life for the residents of New Jersey through preservation and appreciation of its collective past. Their mission is to assist the residents of New Jersey in identifying, preserving, protecting and sustaining New Jersey's historic and archaeological resources through implementation of the state's historic preservation program. This edition of the newsletter focuses on looking back, two centures of historic preservation and a century of stewardship in New Jersey.
