Delaware Estuary Monitoring Report: Covering Monitoring Developments and Data Collected or Reported in 1998

The July 2000 Delaware Estuary Monitoring Report summarizes data and monitoring program developments for the 1998 calendar year, in some cases extending into 1999. The report (hereinafter, '2000 DEMR') was prepared by the Delaware Estuary Program Monitoring Coordinator under the direction of DELEP's Monitoring Implementation Team. It fulfills a directive of the Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan for the Delaware Estuary, calling for an 'annual summary of monitoring data.' The 2000 DEMR is organized in two main sections. The first section, Data Collection and Inter-Agency Coordination, provides background information on monitoring programs and program developments. It contains three subsections, addressing the Delaware River Basin Commission boat run program, the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Mid-Atlantic Integrated Assessment Program, and fish tissue analyses. Section 2, Data Presentations, presents through narrative, graphs, maps and tables monitoring data collected or released during the reporting period. It contains three subsections, addressing water quality, toxics, and living resources (fish populations).This effort was partially funded by the United States Environmental Protection Agency through the Delaware Estuary Program
