Clean Water Financing: Priority System, Intended Use Plan, Priority Project List and Response Document for Federal Fiscal Year 2004

Every year the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) submits a final "Priority System, Intended Use Plan, Project Priority List, and Response Document" to U.S. EPA for its approval. Projects eligible for assistance under the clean water program include wastewater, combined sewer and stormwater management facilities as well as nonpoint source pollution management projects, including open space land acquisition and conservation, landfill closure and construction, remedial action activities and well sealing. The Priority System describes the ranking methodology for the municipal water pollution control projects that are eligible for financial assistance through the state's Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program (EIFP). The Intended Use Plan provides information on funds available through the clean water component of the EIFP. The Priority List identifies projects targeted for financial assistance from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) in State Fiscal Year 2005
