This image was taken during the Queen's Ball, Saturday, July 9, 1955, at the St. Nicholas Hall. J. William Weisbecker, left, was the president of the Centennial Committee as well as the toastmaster of the Ball. Mayor W. Haines Maxwell, right, gave a brief welcoming speech following Weisbecker.
