Ladies Aide Society, St. John's Reformed Church, 1917

This photograph of the St. John's Ladies Aide Society was taken in Egg Harbor City, circa 1917. Interestingly, the Reverend is barely visible in this image because he is standing directly behind a rather tall woman. Most of the women pictured are middle-aged or older; all, with the exception of the Reverend and the stern woman to his right, are smiling pleasantly for the camera.
