These houses were recently constructed by the Federal Housing Administration for the families of employees of Seabrook Farms and the Deerfield Packing Corporation. When this photograph was taken, construction was still underway, and the grounds had no yet been landscaped. Over 400 evacuees from most relocation centers were employed by Seabrook Farms and the total Japanese American population there was over 500.
