This paper considers the challenges that modern andragogy and gerontology are facing and anticipated demographic situation in Poland and the development of the information technology society, in 2050 it can be the knowledge society already. At the beginning, current and predicted demographic and social conditioning shall be considered, the reflections concerning the lives of old people in 2050. This consideration covers the influence of information and communication Technologies, but considering the prospect of forty years it is difficult to predict the situation development. This paper covers lots of prospects description, that opened information and communication technologies while taking care on old or sick persons - it is always conducted in relation to humanistic attitude toward other human being
