Teoría crítica y educación: La reforma protestante y las reformas educativas: Un legado incómodo

This work is framed in the modality of "innovation or educational research", and more specifically in the category of "critical theory and education". Therefore, in this case the purpose of it is to relate the ideas and proposals of some of the most prominent figures of the Frankfurt School with the plans of contemporary educational theory, to highlight the contradictions that in my own view hinder the success of the reforms undertaken. Critical theory suggests and allows a more complex vision of education, inserting its theoretical and practical framework in a very broad, historical, social and cultural scenario at the same time. The data, the empirical evidences, can then play a simply inspiring role, the spring that marks the beginning of the investigation. However, they will be irrelevant once they have taken the desired course. In short, I only intend to offer an alternative approach to observe, under a different and perhaps unconventional prism, the context in which the educational structure is based, and to propose a small or great correction for its theoretical reformulation and its practical development.Este trabajo queda enmarcado en la modalidad de "Innovación o investigación educativa", y más concretamente en la categoría de "Teoría crítica y educación". Por lo tanto, en este caso la finalidad del mismo consiste en relacionar las ideas y las propuestas de algunas de las figuras más destacadas de la Escuela de Frankfurt con los planes de la teoría educativa contemporánea, para poner de manifiesto las contradicciones que a mi manera de ver obstaculizan el éxito de las reformas emprendidas. La teoría crítica sugiere y permite una visión más compleja de la educación, insertando su marco teórico y práctico en un escenario muy amplio, histórico, social y cultural a la vez. Los datos, las evidencias empíricas, pueden jugar entonces un papel simplemente inspirador, el resorte que marca el comienzo de la investigación. Sin embargo, carecerán de relevancia una vez que ésta haya tomado el rumbo deseado. En definitiva, sólo pretendo ofrecer un enfoque alternativo para observar bajo un prisma diferente y tal vez poco convencional el contexto en el cual se asienta la estructura educativa, y proponer una pequeña o gran corrección para su reformulación teórica y su desarrollo práctic
