Objective: To evaluate the necessity of recording ictal electroencephalography (EEG) in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) considered for resective surgery who have unilateral temporal interictal epileptiform discharges (IEDs) and concordant ipsitemporal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) pathology.
