A Solomon five group design was employed to investigate the effects of the “Every Kid Aware drug education and prevention program upon the attitudes of 106 sixth grade students. The program was developed to give students the facts about drugs, drug abuse, and drug dependence that they may be better able to make intelligent decisions about their use. The five groups designated as the implementation and comparison groups were evaluated with an instrument developed by Dave Kingsley, Chuck Schmidt, Cindy Keller, and Mark Tomanek.
