The Home Movies of South Carolina Film Collection consists of seven 16mm films which mainly depict everyday life in South Carolina, however one film is labeled Saluda, NC. The creator of the films is unknown and were given to the donor who gave them to the Winthrop Archives. They appear to have been filmed in Myrtle Beach, SC and possibly Lancaster, SC but it is unclear where (and when) most of them were shot. Events commemorated are a parade, a classroom party, May Day, Boy Scout activities, and a family dog. Four of the seven films were labeled.
