This study explored individuals’ interactions with others, specifically the interactions of professors and students in their time on a college campus. The objective of analyzing these relationships was to determine how educators and students connect, develop, and maintain their relationships effectively. To accomplish this, observations of over 70 college students were recorded, three separate interviews of both students and a professor conducted, and a survey of 30 people attained. The results of these findings indicate that when the relationship values of providing help, communicating effectively, and showing compassion for others are used, positive student-professor relationships are more likely to develop
