Course syllabus for ADDS 518 Alcoholism and Drug Abuse A Systems Approach Course description: This course will explore a systems approach as it relates to the etiology and treatment of drug and alcohol problems. Systems theory is based on the recognition that living things are open systems, interacting with their environments through circular and multifactorial patterns.
