Governors State University graduate and undergraduate students had the opportunity to teach educators recently when they presented at the 61st Annual Meeting of the Illinois Council of Teacher of Mathematics in Springfield, Illinois. The students, all studying to be math teachers, presented math activities they designed based on the massive sculptures in the Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park. The students found that the 26 sculptures, which are located on the grounds of the university, can be used to illustrate various mathematical formulas and principles
