GSU Offers Master of Public Administration Program to Area Police, Fire, and Public Administration Professionals

Governors State University is helping local law enforcement agencies meet the need for well educated professionals through its Master of Public Administration (MPA) program. The university plans to offer a MPA cohort at the Illinois State Police District 5 Headquarters in Lockport. The cohort program will allow police, fire, and public administration professionals throughout the region to complete a degree together, at a single, central location. The college has successfully offered a similar cohort program in Lansing and is currently delivering programs in Orland Park, Oak Forest, and Frankfort, IL
