Presumably, Jens is the man in the foreground on the small plow that is being pushed by two horses. Behind him on the left, there is a barn with a tall gable roof and a windmill. The main home is on the far right. It is a two-story house with intersecting gable roofs and several double-hung windows, as well as two roof overhangs covering small patios. The photograph has been placed on a stiff mat. On the back, there is hand-written text that reads, "Jens H. Berndt about 1910.
