Austin Papers: Series III, 1830

Copy of transcript for several letters written in November of 1830. The first, from William P. Harris to the Vice President of Mexico on November 18, 1830, discusses his desire to move to Mexico, and his attempts to gain land. The second, from Stephen F. Austin, discusses Harris' mission to populate and cultivate the land he is trying to acquire
