[Man with Produce Wagon]

Photograph of a man identified as A. S. J. Lockhart with a wagon full of produce. There are various stores behind the wagon in the background. A note accompanying the photograph describes its history, and reads: Albert Sidney Johnson Lockhart was born March 2, 1866 and died July 11, 1952. His farm was one mile North and one mile East of Wellington, Texas. Lockhart came to Collingsworth County before 1896. Ed Lockhart was born February 15, 1896 (?) in the Bean Hill community. He died January 23, 1984. Tennessee Alabama Brewer Lockhart was born May 9, 1871 and died July 11, 1956. He is standing behind the wagon, behind a big cantaloupe. This photograph was made on the West side of the square before the streets were bricked in 1922. The farm was bought from Walter Hyde in about 1914. A. S. J.
