The purpose of researching the effects of varying air flow velocity on engine behavior is to increase the overall efficiency and performance of the vehicle. A more efficient engine will require less energy to produce the same desired power output. Unfortunately, improving an engine\u27s performance is a carefully balanced game of compromise.
