Arizona‘s controversial immigration law, and the general lack of understanding about it, motivated our group to present a detailed overview of its policies. The bill‘s importance has been shown through the media coverage dedicated to it, though its real impacts are often misinterpreted. Our goal is to understand both sides of the deeply divided argument over the law, and to help inform others to better make their own judgment concerning the topic. The issues many people have with the law are that they violate individual‘s right to privacy, and enables racial profiling as a means of identifying illegal immigrants. Others would argue that the law is a necessary evil to deter what they perceive to be the larger problem of illegal immigration
