This map shows Central America split into two major regions: Mexico (shaded in red) and Guatimala (shaded in yellow). There are two sets of numbers on the regions corresponding to an index on the left side of the map which lists the Mexican provinces and Central American countries. Some cities, bodies of water, and geographic features are marked on the map (with relief shown by hachures)
