The British Council and DAAD have co-funded this study, and worked with ANIE (African Network for Internationalisation of Education), and University College London, Institute of Education to investigate the nature of research and doctoral training across Sub-Saharan Africa. This study supports decision making around national-level policy, and institutional-level practice and provides current and potential international partners with insight into the PhD environment in six countries across Sub..
