Photograph of a woman (possibly Mamie George) standing in front of the Nancy Stiles Jones oak tree in the yard of the George Ranch house. According to the "1996 George Ranch Historical Park Interpreter Training Manual", Nancy Jones planted the oak tree in 1824. The tree house (partially visible near top of photo) with the spiral stairway leading to it, was built by the Georges for Mary Jones, daughter of Mamie's cousin Henry Jones. White building on left, shrubs, wooden fence in background. The photograph is bordered by a black pattern with "Fox Co." written in bottom left, and top right corners of pattern. Stamped on back in blue: "2 196". Stamped in purple on back: "Guaranteed for Life This Is a Genuine (sic) Border Fox Tone Picture (outline of fox) Made By Fox Company, San Antonio, Texas Trade Mark Protected". Written in pencil on the back of the photo: "tree house at George Ranch"
