Location, environment and cultural characteristics of the region The Yagodina Cave is situated in the Western Rhodope Mountains in the area of the watershed between the catchments of the tributaries of the Mesta and Maritsa Rivers (41° 37’ 41.80” N, 24° 19’ 43.53” E).
