Due to regulation of the use of bisphenol A, several analogs serving as bisphenol A replacements have drawn substantial attention for their adverse health effects. To investigate their occurrence in humans and identify possible pollution sources, it is necessary to develop a sensitive method for total bisphenols detection. Thus, a method based on enzymolysis and liquid-liquid extraction followed by molecularly imprinted polymer solid-phase extraction and pre-column derivatization with high-performance liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry was proposed.
