This interview features the associate pastor at Overland Park Church of the Nazarene in Overland Park, Kansas. Questions address Vicki's experiences as an ordained woman in ministry in Kansas: how she has been received by Kansas communities, her congregations, male colleagues, challenges she has faced (recognizing/resisting call, negative feedback, gendered expectations/stereotypes) and whether there is still a resistance to women in ministry in Kansas. This interview also includes Vicki's experiences in seminary, as a minister's wife, in ministry at a mission in Kansas City, as a professor at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO.
