The article focuses on issues concerning health savings accounts (HSAs) in the U.S. HSAs are trust accounts introduced by the Medicare Prescription Drug Improvement and Modernization Act of 2003 to reimburse qualified medical costs to an eligible individual. A survey by America\u27s Health Insurance Plans showed that 3.2 million individuals are enrolled in HSAs. Information on the tax incentives provided by HSAs as well as the requirements for individuals to be HAS-eligible is also addressed
