The method presented in this thesis allows for the calculation of the current and voltage spectra of a drive system for the steady state, while considering the influence of interactions between the system components. The signals are represented by their Fourier coefficients. Their relationships within the system are described by algebraic equations, which are generally nonlinear and they incorporate the coupling of the harmonic components. This ensures the consideration of interactions between the inverter, its feeding source and load, as well as its closed-loop control and pulse-width modulation.
