Background: The intra uterine contraceptive device (IUD) is a highly effective contraception which has been offered since 2004 to the nullipara population. However, it has not yet gained popularity as a form of contraception. Thus, this study was interested in the level of understanding amongst the nullipara students about intra uterine contraceptive devices, as well as their general opinion of them.Study design: This is an observational descriptive and cross-sectional study realized thanks to the distribution of surveys to the students of the Clermont Auvergne University through the digital working space.Results: The results showed that the knowledge was generally good, with the average grade being 15 out of 20.
