Medical libraries: libraries in progress - annual meeting 2015 of the German MLA (AGMB), September 7th to 9th at Basel, Switzerland

From September 7th to 9th 2015 the Annual Meeting of the German MLA (AGMB) took place at Basel. It was co-hosted by the University Medical Library of Basel. Main topics of the conference were lectures about efficiently searching in databases, new strategies for services in libraries and data management. The program included exhibitions, product reviews by the participating companies and workshops.Vom 7. bis 9. September 2015 fand in Basel die Jahrestagung der Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Medizinisches Bibliothekswesen (AGMB) e.V. statt. Gastgeber war die Universitätsbibliothek Medizin der Universität Basel. Hauptthemen der Konferenz waren Vorträge zu effizienten und neuen Suchstrategien und Datenbanken, zu neuen Servicekonzepten, Nutzungs- und Marketingstrategien für Bibliotheken, zur Optimierung von Ausstattung und Lernumgebung sowie zu Forschungsdatenmanagement. Eine Firmenausstellung, Product Reviews und ein Fortbildungsworkshop rundeten das Programm ab
