A new approach to integrate availabilities in search portals and discovery services

In a cooperation, the University Library of Regensburg and ZB MED - Information Centre for Life Sciences have developed a service to determine the free availabilities of several million journal articles and journals automatically. For this project, the cooperation partners were awarded the second prize in the competition "Pioneer projects in medical libraries" in 2018.Die Kooperationspartner Universitätsbibliothek (UB) Regensburg und ZB MED - Informationszentrum Lebenswissenschaften haben gemeinsam einen Dienst entwickelt, mit dem es möglich ist, die freie Verfügbarkeit von mehreren Millionen Zeitschriftenartikeln und Zeitschriften vollautomatisiert zu ermitteln.
