Invariably all machining processes generate a burr. At present all deburring is done either manually or using rigid tools. These methods are expensive, time consuming and may damage the workpiece. Hence, there is has been an increasing trend to use compliant tools and also to automate the deburring process. The burr height reduction process model has already been developed. In this thesis, this process model has been implemented and also a complete motion control system has been developed. This research is an attempt to automate the deburring process using compliant tools following a systematic approach
