A Parent-Teacher Administered Weight Reduction Program for Obese Down\u27s Syndrome Adolescents

Six moderately retarded adolescents with Down\u27s Syndrome participated in a parent-teacher administered behavioral weight reduction program. The program involved graduated exposure to a number of weight reduction techniques combined with external and self-administered reinforcement components over a 19-week treatment and maintenance period.
