Part of the writer\u27s undergraduate work in chemical engineering consisted of cooperative work in the rubber industry. The noise, dust and fumes which are characteristic of the industry, seem to create a familarity [sic] and liking for them. It is only natural, that since there are great possibilities in the electrodeposition of rubber; that the author\u27s interest should gravitate in that direction.
