Although hypertext had been around for decades as a narrative form, many writers and theorists regard it as a failed experiment with emergent technology. Many experimental works with the form have a number of problems, ranging from narrative incoherence to gimmicky storytelling. It may be possible to take effective advantage of hypertext technology by telling a multi-linear story, rather than a strictly non-linear or linear one. This project makes such an attempt with a novella-sized story
