The piano and its music -- three hundred years of changing form and style.

The purpose of this project is to examine how piano music changed over the last 300 years. Music of key composers from the pre-Classical, Classical, Romantic, and Twentieth Century periods will be discussed in the paper, with attention paid to how musical composition has changed over time. The CD, which was made by the author, contains pieces by each of the composers discussed in the paper, which are reflective of the changing styles of piano music
