The purpose of the MQP is to research, design, and construct the power train and drive train components of WPI\u27s 2005 FSAE race car. Power train and drive train components were completed while working closely with three accompanying projects dedicated to the chassis, suspension, and controls of the race car. The power train and drive train team was responsible for the engine, intake, exhaust, engine management system, cooling systems, rear differential, and the chain tensioning system
