The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is a measure of a student\u27s potential for success during the freshman year of college. This project utilized the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Gordon\u27s Cognitive Style Measure to obtain cognitive styles for a sample of students at WPI. This sample\u27s SAT scores and freshman year grades were compared to test the College Board\u27s claim that the SAT is indeed an indicator of first year college performance
