The purpose of this project was twofold; to develop both a rainwater and solar energy harvesting system. The goal was to provide renewable power for technologies with societal benefits. The rainwater energy harvesting system was designed to collect water in a gutter, channel it through a downspout and direct it onto an impulse turbine which was connected to a generator. The solar energy charger was designed with a 2W solar panel,
