Expanding Stormwater Solutions: An Inventory of Projects Reducing Polluted Runoff in Massachusetts

Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs) are principal techniques and structures used to mitigate the effects of polluted stormwater runoff. The goal of this project was to expand the Massachusetts Watershed Coalition’s inventory of stormwater BMPs, which were used to educate the public on BMP projects across the state. We reviewed numerous annual stormwater reports and contacted over 300 municipalities. As a result, we gathered information on more than 100 projects.
