The E-Plane is the first aircraft to combine batteries and a fuel cell(s) to power passengers through the air. The problem of removing heat from the fuel cell, motor and controller arises during operation. A cooling system is necessary to dissipate heat, while minimizing weight, volume, and power consumption. Using MATLAB and Simulink software, three different cooling systems were modeled, simulated, and analyzed to determine the optimum configuration of components. Different components were recommended for use in the plane
