Climate change is believed to promote toxic cyanobacteria blooms. Our project\u27s goal was to inform public water suppliers about the prevention of cyanobacteria contamination of Massachusetts\u27s groundwater-under-the-influence wells. We identified water bodies in MA that may contaminate groundwater, surveyed water administrators and water suppliers to gauge informational needs, and developed informational materials for suppliers. Our group recommends that our sponsor, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, continues to raise awareness about cyanobacteria and how to prevent water contamination
