Design and construction of a test platform and prototype to automatically dampen under computer control pendular oscillations in a fixed pivot single axis crane. Major components included mechanical design and fabrication of scale prototype, design and fabrication of all driving and control electronics, and design and implementation of controlling software. Project concluded in a functioning test bed prototype which is prepared for full testing with little or no modification
